As surprising as it may seem (due to the fact I now do this for a living) I’ve been that girl who’s absolutely fricken terrified to walk into a gym. Heart racing out my chest, pep talk with myself in the car, sweating walking in, forgetting how to say hi to the person on the desk, convinced everyone’s looking at me as if to say 'you don't belong here', like I've got a badge on my forehead that says 'you don't know what to do'.

I've been that girl that picks up a piece of gym equipment, makes eye contact with someone, has a hot flush goes bright red and runs out the gym. Yep.
